Capes might be a major trend each season, but they have been a classic staple in a girl’s wardrobe for decades. 🤍
We have ultimately been working on offering a cape for years and each and every pattern just have not fit well, so my very talented heirloom artist drafted one that fits impeccably (we are picky so to say we have made several samples is an understatement!)

• Lined in ivory satin batiste
• Heirloom portrait collar is made with 100% Swiss batiste in ivory
• Scalloped collar
• Collar lace is attached by a special hemstitching technique
• Ivory French lace trims
• Large ivory mother-of-pearl buttons

Sizes 2 - 10

Heirloom cape will fit for several years, so sizing is even sizes only.
The older your child is, the longer the cape will fit. Example: purchasing a size 4 cape will fit up to 5 years easily.

Cape Lengths:

2 - 24.5"
4 - 28.5"
6 - 32.5"
8 - 36.5"
10 - 38.5"

All heirlooms are handmade so lengths may vary slightly. Please email us if you'd like a different/custom length.

Cape on 9-year-old model is a shortened length (29"), so truly we can customize to your preferences.

Pricing gradually increases for size ranges to accommodate the extra yardage of fabrics and laces just as they do with heirloom dresses.
We do not purchase the Swiss wool challis by the bolt (wholesale pricing) so purchase by the yard at retail pricing $40-$50/yard).
